Junior Gymnastics Views
Tutka is a three-time Junior Olympian, according to her web site, and has come back back from double-elbow surgery in 2008. She had qualified as an international elite before her injury, and now competes as a Level 10. Her best finish at Junior Olympic nationals was second on the balance beam in 2010, when she also finished fourth in the all-around. Tutka is home-schooled and will receive her high school diploma through Bridgeway Academy in Pennsylvania. She trains at Parkettes Gymnastics in Allentown, Pa.
The Junior Olympic Program is organized into 10 different levels of training or competition. Each level has multiple age groups and opportunities for participation and competition.
